The center was approved on March 2, 2009 to expand the research culture, and to provide new solutions based on research in health and treatment, in relation to infectious and tropical diseases, and its definitive approval based on the vote issued at the 193rd meeting of the council for the promotion of medical sciences universities, dated May 15, 2016, and with the notification of the honorable minister of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. At present, this center has an area of 30 square meters in the university campus, and a research office at Ayatollah Rouhani Hospital. So far, the center has three Ph.D. by research students.
