Non-Communicable Pediatric Disease Research Center

The Non-Communicable Pediatric Disease Research Center of Babol University of Medical Sciences began its work in July 2009 on the basis of the approval of the Development Council of the Ministry of Health. The official notification was issued by the Minister of Health and Medical Education on May 13, 2013. The center is located on the second floor of Amirkola’s children's hospital, in Amirkola, with an area of ​​200 square meters, 5 separate rooms, an information center and an advanced conference hall. This center has one PhD by research student.

         Research priorities

1.         Common childhood digestive diseases associated with chronic constipation and speech pain, and the role of nutrition and microbiota in their occurrence

2.         Determination of genetic status in digestive diseases, including continuing to determine the status of CF mutation in the region

3.         Promoting the positive microbial and fungal cultures in infections associated with non-infectious diseases in children

         Scientific Journal

The Caspian Journal of Pediatrics started its activity in the year 2013 and indexed in ISC, ESJI, Scientific World Index, ROAD DIRECTORY, Ricest, Google scholar, magiran, SID. It is published twice a year under the headship of Dr. Mohammadreza Esmaili Dooki and the Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Hadi Sorkhi. Other publishing activities of the center include the publication of 6 academic books entitled "Practical actions in infants" (2008), "Infants and their care" (2010), "Congenital anomalies of newborns" (2011), "Neonatal rehabilitation" (2014), "Children's dialysis" (2015) and "Pediatric Chest Radiology" (2015).
